Virginia Beard Festival Expands to Include Corporate Workshops and Networking through VBF Events & Network

[Norfolk, Va] – 11/21/22 – Virginia Beard Festival (VBF), best known for its annual celebration of men with beards and the women who love them, is excited to announce its strategic expansion. Through the launch of VBF Events & Network, VBF will now offer enhanced corporate workshops, networking opportunities, and business development services. This marks a shift from VBF’s festival origins to a more dynamic, service-oriented model designed to benefit businesses and the community.

With the addition of VBF Events & Network, VBF is evolving to provide tailored services for corporate events, employment workshops, and business development seminars that integrate technology to maximize community engagement. Whether for large corporations or small businesses, these services will focus on practical strategies for leveraging technology, fostering growth, and creating meaningful connections.

A key focus of VBF Events & Network is helping companies engage the next generation of the workforce and future entrepreneurs. Through targeted workshops, mentorship programs, and community events, we aim to help businesses connect with younger talent and foster entrepreneurial mindsets among youth. This initiative empowers businesses to invest in the future while cultivating a pipeline of talent ready to lead in the years ahead.

Bellas in Business and Beards In Business, VBF’s signature groups of entrepreneurs, will continue to mentor young people, providing guidance and leadership for the next generation. These groups also work to foster a strong network of professionals committed to giving back to the community, particularly through programs that inspire and train youth in entrepreneurial and leadership skills.

VBF Events & Network is the next chapter for Virginia Beard Festival,” said Kezia Hendricks, Founder & CEO of VBF. “We’re building on the momentum of our festival to offer more focused services that help businesses engage their employees, foster innovation, and integrate new technologies. What makes this even more special is that proceeds from these services will go to our 501(c)(3) youth charity, the Young Investors Group, allowing us to support and mentor young people while continuing to grow our business community.”

Proceeds from corporate events and workshops held by VBF Events & Network will directly support Young Investors Group, a 501(c)(3) charity dedicated to empowering youth through financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and technology training.
